Vehicle Types Covered Under Utah Lemon Law
How Utah's New Motor Vehicle Warranties Act treats used vehicles, leases, EVs, motorcycles, RVs, and commercial trucks.
Utah’s New Motor Vehicle Warranties Act applies primarily to new motor vehicles used for personal, family, or household purposes. Used vehicles, motorcycles, motor homes, and primarily-commercial-use vehicles are excluded — but Magnuson-Moss and UCC implied warranties still cover many. Utah has no separate Used Car Lemon Law.
