About findlemonlaw.com
findlemonlaw.com is an independent consumer-information project. Our goal is simple: give car buyers in every US state a plain-English, accurate explanation of their state's lemon law — and a way to find a qualified lawyer if they need one.
What you'll find here
- State guides. A consistent structure for every state — the law, the process, the remedies, qualifying defects, vehicle types covered, manufacturers commonly involved, and frequently asked questions.
- Statute citations. When we describe a rule, we cite the statute or case so you can verify it yourself.
- Attorney directory. A browsable directory of lemon-law firms by state, with contact details, ratings, and locations sourced from Google to help you start your search. Confirm a firm's bar standing and current details directly before retaining counsel.
What this is not
This is not legal advice. We're a reference, not a substitute for a licensed attorney in your state. Lemon laws are state-specific and fact-specific — what's true in California may not apply in Texas, and what worked in your neighbor's case may not work in yours.
Editorial standards
- Every state guide is reviewed against the current statute text and recent case law.
- We label content as updated when we change it materially.
- We don't accept payment from law firms in exchange for favorable coverage.
- Directory listings are drawn from public Google business data — not advertising spend — and are provided for convenience, not as an endorsement.
