She graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 1999 and is a lecturer at the WVU College of Law, where she frequently presents continuing education seminars on child welfare and juvenile law matters.

Mr. Phillips, a graduate of WVU College of Law (2002), has been in private practice for over 19 years.
