Founded by Clark Martin shortly after his graduation from South Texas College of Law in 2011, the firm has grown steadily while maintaining its commitment to getting to know each client and dedicating focused attention to their cases.

Clark's path to practicing law is unconventional and informative. Before law school, he worked as a Weld Inspection Technician for Shaw Pipeline Services, testing the integrity of natural gas pipe welds on both onshore and offshore vessels across domestic and international operations. That background gave him exposure to maritime and offshore work, as well as extensive international travel through Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. He also worked his way through Texas State University, where he earned both a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and a master's degree in Legal Studies. Before opening his own practice, Clark served as a Veteran Affairs Assistant for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and as a Litigation Assistant in the Law Enforcement Defense Division under then-Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott—experiences that reinforced his commitment to serving Texans.

After law school, Clark joined Brown Simms, PC as an associate in its Maritime Defense section, a natural fit given his offshore background. His entrepreneurial drive soon led him to launch The Martin Law Firm independently. Since then, the practice has expanded significantly without losing its foundational focus on personalized representation.

The firm handles personal injury claims, auto crashes, workplace injuries, offshore injuries, medical negligence, and wrongful death matters. Clark also serves as General Counsel to Austin Social Planner and advises small and mid-size businesses across Texas on real estate, employment, commercial, and other matters. The firm additionally assists clients with estate planning, wills, and related concerns, as well as debt collection protection and dram shop claims.

Clark has maintained active involvement in the legal community, serving on the Board of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association's Long Term Planning Committee and holding membership in the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association and the Garland R. Walker American Inn of Court.
