He went on to attend Lincoln Memorial University's Duncan School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in the top 5% of his class. During law school, he served as a Board Member for the Moot Court competition team and earned CALI Awards for achieving the top grade in courses including Torts, Business Organizations, and Environmental Law. Before founding East Tennessee Employment Law, Clint spent time in Memphis representing families in domestic relations matters and then joined an established Knoxville employment law firm, where he represented employees facing illegal workplace conduct. He is admitted to practice throughout Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Clint is an active member of the Knoxville Bar Association and the Tennessee Employment Lawyers Association.

The firm also benefits from the counsel of Jesse D. Nelson, who serves in an of-counsel capacity. Mr. Nelson brings more than two decades of legal experience, including years spent at the largest law firm in west Tennessee handling diverse state and federal court matters, as well as civil litigation work in Knoxville. Since opening his own practice in 2011, he has focused almost exclusively on employment law cases, particularly overtime violations and discrimination claims. He is a recognized speaker at legal seminars and professional group events and now dedicates his efforts with East Tennessee Employment Law primarily to mediating employment disputes.
