The firm represents consumers throughout Pennsylvania under both state and federal law. The Pennsylvania Lemon Law covers new passenger vehicles purchased or leased and registered in the state, provided they develop nonconformities—defects or issues that impair use, safety, or value—within the first 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. A vehicle may qualify if it has been taken to the shop repeatedly for the same problem or has spent 30 or more calendar days in repair during the applicable period. The firm also assists consumers who fall outside the Pennsylvania statute's scope by pursuing claims under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which may apply to vehicles with recurring problems under their original or extended manufacturer's warranty. This federal remedy is available for motorcycles and other vehicles as well.
