His practice encompasses plaintiff and defense personal injury work, insurance defense, municipal law, real estate litigation, corporate litigation, and divorce law. Zalas is an adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School, where he teaches deposition skills, and serves on the executive committee of the St. Joseph County Bar Foundation. He holds memberships in the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Over the past two decades, Zalas has also developed substantial expertise in firearms law, representing Federal Firearms Licensees in state and federal court and maintaining his own FFL and SOT licenses.
