Sean Scott earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law in 1994 and began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Pinellas County, Florida, where he handled a substantial criminal caseload while also representing individuals in involuntary commitment proceedings. He established his private practice in 1997 and has since developed broad expertise across criminal defense, personal injury, business acquisitions, corporate law, bankruptcy, estate planning, and probate matters. Beyond direct client representation, Scott spent 12 years as a full professor at St. Petersburg College, teaching business law, corporations, bankruptcy, criminal law, legal drafting, and civil litigation to aspiring legal professionals. He has been recognized twice as Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year and continues to contribute to the legal community as an adjunct instructor and speaker at continuing legal education seminars.
