Karen Temple, Esq., founded the practice and brings substantial expertise in estate planning and elder law. She holds a Master of Laws degree in Estate Planning & Elder Law from Western New England College of Law, earned in 2014, as well as a Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. Temple's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hawaii Bar Association, the Maui County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Her professional contributions to the community are extensive: she served as a Director of Aloha House Inc. and related youth and family service organizations from 2018 to 2023, directed Hospice Maui from 2003 to 2010 (serving as President in 2009), was a founding Director of the Maui Coastal Land Trust (now the Hawaiian Island Land Trust) from 2000 to 2002, and held leadership roles with the Maui Estate Planning Council. Temple received the Lei Niho Palaoa Award in 2016 and was recognized as Best of Hawai'i Estate Planning Attorney for Maui.
