Slocum graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law and has practiced since 1992. Over his career, he has tried over 50 jury trials to verdict and hundreds of non-jury trials across Arkansas District Courts, Circuit Courts, and the Arkansas Supreme Court. His civil litigation practice has encompassed hundreds of cases to verdict and settlements negotiating millions of dollars for clients. In family law, he has handled numerous divorce matters centered on child custody and visitation, property division, and alimony, and has represented parties in arbitrations and mediations before various tribunals. His experience extends to probate and estate planning work serving families across the region. Slocum has also been appointed special District Judge and special Circuit Judge on multiple occasions and holds licenses in good standing as both a real estate agent and auctioneer in Arkansas.

Ashton Pickell joined the firm as an associate attorney following his 2021 graduation from the University of Arkansas School of Law. During law school, he participated in trial advocacy competitions and gained practical experience through clerkships with Washington County Circuit Judge Doug Martin, the litigation firm Miller, Butler, Schneider, Pawlik & Rozzell, and the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Ashton is an active community member and member of the Arkansas Bar Association.
