The firm's founding partners each bring distinct professional backgrounds and specializations. Buffie B. Merryman, a lifelong Northwest Arkansas resident, earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law after completing undergraduate and master's degrees at the university. Before pursuing law, she worked as an account executive at a major advertising agency. Her legal practice emphasizes family law and criminal defense, informed by her focus on trial techniques and her prior work in legal education at the university level. Through Merryman Law Firm, she built a reputation for helping clients who have been wronged and for bringing resolution to family disputes.

Darren Gibbs is a native of Fayetteville who graduated cum laude from Centenary College of Louisiana and earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where he was recognized on the Dean's List and served on the Board of Advocates. He also studied international law at the University of Cambridge. Gibbs brings corporate compliance experience from his work at Walmart and handles matters spanning real estate disputes, family law, grandparent guardianship, personal injury claims, and business services including entity selection, corporate filings, and contract negotiation. He is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Districts of the U.S. Federal Courts and is licensed in Arkansas.

Tim Watson Jr. is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law with additional study at the University of Texas. He holds licenses to practice in both Arkansas and California and maintains federal district court admission. Watson is a trial attorney who has resolved dozens of cases inside and outside the courtroom. Since 2018, he has concentrated his practice in Northwest Arkansas, developing a particular specialization in contractual disputes and personal injury litigation involving negligence.
